I am fortunate in the library to have "volunteers" create displays. This is one by the SLE students showcases points of interest in Maryland along with a replica of the Maryland state flag.

Technology

I find technology to be a double-edged sword. On the one hand there are infinite sources of information for research, professional development, and entertainment. But how does one remember all of these places and their passwords or find the time to sit in front of the computer utilizing these tools requires?
I have enjoyed exploring Flickr, but I am very unsure of what I'm doing most of the time.
I do use a digital camera and have photos I could upload, but again, organizing and uploading take time.

Life Long Learning

I am taking this class because habit six (using technology to your advantage) is one place I need improvement. I think habits #1 beginning with the end in mind and #2 accepting responsibility for my own learning are habits that I already model. As an educator it is obvious that learning is a high priority in my life and making it a priority for others.
